| Clusium was one of the cities of the ancient Etruscan dodecapolis,
sometimes called Camars ("by bogs surrounded") or Clevsins. The site of
the ancient city is now occupied by modern Chiusi, but on many places,
ancient tombs can still be seen.
This statue shows a deity that was called Mater Matuta ("mother Fertility") by the Romans. Today, this group is in the Museo archeologico nazionale, Florence. |

| An Etruscan statue that was found in one of the archaic tombs. It dates back to the sixth century and is commonly called "Pluto", although the identity of the sitting man is not known. The statue can now be seen in the Museo Archeologico Regionale "Antonio Salinas" in Palermo. | ||
