The Phrygian plain near Sivrihisar. Photo Jona Lendering. It is impossible to capture the beauty of the plains of Phrygia on a picture. Nevertheless, perhaps these three photos can give you some feeling of the immense emptiness and impressive desolation. These mountains are north of Sivrihisar and west of Phrygia's capital Gordium.
